What is the process
to buy a puppy?
|

View our pages and if you like what you see, email and tell us. We will email questions for you to answer before you mail a deposit of $200 to secure a pick. Picks go in the order of deposits received. Most pups are priced at 1000 plus tax, dog law fee and shipping, if needed. Pups are more if we pay a stud fee for a "Big Dog". (NFC, NAFC, FC AFC, FC, MH, etc.) We ship anywhere within the continental USA and Alaska. We have pups living in more than thirty of the United States.

As you read about all the titled ancestors of the puppies, keep in mind that this means you will get a smart, trainable Lab puppy! Invest some consistent training time with your Labrador and he or she will perform and become a great companion. We will not own a dog unless he/she is social and healthy with the certifications to prove it. All our dogs carry high quality pedigrees too.
Equally as important as a pup's ancestry, is the socialization he or she receives. Our socialization program is second to none. All of our puppies go through an Early Neurological Stimulation Program. (ENS) See our Testimonial Page and see what past customers have said about our Labrador pups. And, all Thunder Labrador puppies come with a hip, elbow, heart and eye guarantee. We also guarantee that your Lab pup will not be affected by EIC or CNM. Hip, Eye, Elbow, Heart, EIC and CNM Guarantee

Welcome to WisconsinLabradors.com, dba, Thunder Labradors. We started raising Labradors in 1994. Our kennel is owned and operated by Richard and Mirella Spike. We are experienced chocolate, yellow and black Lab breeders in southern Wisconsin. Our kennel is located at W9167 State Road 106 in the small village of Busseyville, WI. We are 30 minutes southeast of Madison, WI, one hour west of Milwaukee, WI, and 3 hours southeast of LaCrosse, WI. We are 50 minutes from Rockford, IL and 1 hour 50 minutes from O'Hare in Chicago, IL.
All of our breeding dogs, whether they are chocolate, yellow or black, are AKC registered and hip, elbow and eye screened. All Labrador pups come with a hip, elbow and eye guarantee, have dewclaws removed and are up to date on wormings and age appropriate vaccinations. We also guarantee that your puppy will not be affected by EIC and CNM. These are two disorders that you want no part of. If you buy your Lab from us, no worries. We test our dogs and there is no way genetically possible for you to buy an affected pup from us. If you consider buying elsewhere, be sure to ask about these two somewhat prevelent disorders.
Something that separates us from most other Labrador breeders, is the amount of time we spend socializing our puppies. All our pups are exposed to Early Neurological Stimulation. (ENS) An Internet search will give you more details about ENS. (use canine ENS for your search) After strong pedigrees and health certificates, it is "TIME" that makes a quality pup.
As professional breeders, (having more than seven litters per year) we have been inspected by the American Kennel Club several times and we are always in "substantial compliance" with all AKC rules and regulations regarding the care of our dogs. You may visit our kennel any time with an appointment. We suggest you do not wear sandals, flip flops or anything that exposes your toes. Your toes and puppy teeth do not mix well. We prefer phone calls to set appointments. Call Richard at 608-212-7799. Upon request, we can email our questionnaire, pedigrees, health certificates and more pictures for any litters of interest.
You can buy a Thunder Labrador with confidence because we are experienced Lab breeders that deliver quality puppy care. References are available upon request. We take all the precautions known to modern veterinary medicine in order to nurture a healthy, social, trainable Lab puppy.
